A new TEM in the Microscopy Facility
The Electron Microscopy Platform acquired a new transmission electron microscope, the JEOL JEM F200, last February. The microscope is equipped with a cold field-emission gun, two EDX detectors, a direct electron detector, as well as the ASTAR precession system.
After several months of installation, the first training sessions for engineers took place in early September. Training sessions for users will be available soon.
This equipment was acquired through the CPER CHEMACT project, funded by the Hauts-de-France Region, the European Metropolis of Lille (MEL), the French State, and the ERDF (European Regional Development Fund).
