The fourth edition of the CrystElec school, organized by the French Society of Microscopy and supported by the French Crystallography Association, will take place at the Chevreul Institute from November 17 to 21, 2025.
The school is intended for PhD students, researchers, and engineers with basic knowledge of electron microscopy and/or structural analysis by X-ray diffraction. It focuses on the determination of structures and microstructures at the nanometer scale using electron diffraction in a TEM (Transmission Electron Microscope). It covers recent developments related to the use of advanced data acquisition and analysis techniques such as Precession Electron Diffraction Tomography (PEDT), dynamical refinements, and phase/orientation mapping in 4D-STEM.
Practical organization: Lectures in the morning, practical sessions in half-groups on the TEM and in tutorials in the afternoon. Courses will be given in English.
Fees: €440, including lunch.
Pre-registration: Send an email to damien.jacob.fr univ-lille
