For the second year in a row, the CNRS training "Elemental microanalysis of solids by electron microprobe" took place within UMET, from October 5 to 7, 2020. This training uses the equipment of electron microscopy platform of the Chevreul Federation: the Cameca SX100 microprobe located at building C7 and the MEB JEOL JSM7800F located at C6. The training began this year with 2 trainees from CNRS and Saint-Gobain Recherche.

The speakers of this training are Hugues Leroux for the course on "electron/matter interactions", Ahmed Addad and Alexandre Fadel for the "analysis by EDX spectrometry" experimental part and Séverine Bellayer for the "electron microprobe analysis" experimental part.
